CREDITS AND BILLING

Know your balance.
Understand the charge.

ZRouter accounts use prepaid USD credits. All account API keys draw from the same balance.

Buy credit

Open Billing & credits. Choose a preset or enter an amount of $5 or more, then continue to Stripe-hosted Checkout. Credit is added after payment confirmation. Returning to the success page alone does not add credit.

BYOK routing fees$0$0

BYOK provider fees are paid separately to your provider. These rates reflect the current workspace configuration. Estimate a token charge.

Reservations and settlement

Before dispatch, ZRouter reserves credit for the configured input allowance and requested maximum output. The current input allowance is 131072 tokens, and the maximum output allowance is 8192 tokens.

After complete token usage is reported, the gateway settles the actual charge and releases any difference. Setting a smaller maximum output lowers the output portion of the reservation. Your account must cover the initial reservation.

Missing usage can leave a hold.

If final usage is unavailable or a stream disconnects early, reserved credit can remain held until the usage is verified and the balance is reconciled. Do not assume a disconnected request was free.

Your ledger is the balance record

Billing & credits shows your balance and latest 100 ledger entries, including token counts and balance changes. Usage charts can show provider cost estimates, which can differ from the actual prepaid or BYOK routing fee.

Resetting a budget or rate-limit rule does not reset the credit ledger, delete usage, or refund charges.

Payment and refund boundaries

The current release has no self-service refund request flow. Approved refunds reduce your credit balance. Refunding already-spent credit can leave a negative balance and block further requests.
